NovaStar Unveils VX2000 Pro: The Next-Generation 4K LED Video Processor Replacing VX Series

At the recent iSle exhibition earlier this month, NovaStar unveiled its latest flagship video processor, the VX2000 Pro. This high-performance device integrates both video processing and control functionalities, specifically engineered to meet the evolving demands of LED display technology. It is poised to replace the older VX Series models (VX1000, VX600, VX400, VX16s), which are slated for discontinuation.​

Enhanced Features:

• Robust Video Processing Capabilities: The VX2000 Pro supports a maximum video input resolution of 4K×2K@60Hz, capable of handling various video signal inputs. It offers up to 12 layers, output scaling, low latency, and pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration, ensuring exceptional image quality. 

• Diverse Input and Output Interfaces: The device is equipped with 4K-level input interfaces, including 1×DP 1.2, 2×HDMI 2.0, 4×HDMI 1.3, 1×12G-SDI (with loop out), 2×10G optical ports (OPT 1/2), 1×USB 3.0, and 1×Genlock (with loop out). On the output side, it provides 20 gigabit Ethernet ports, supporting up to 13 million pixels, with a maximum width of 16,384 pixels and a maximum height of 8,192 pixels. Additionally, there are 2 optical output ports, each supporting data transmission equivalent to 10 Ethernet ports, and 1×HDMI 1.3 monitoring output with a fixed resolution of 1920×1080@60Hz. ​

  

• Flexible Control Methods: The VX2000 Pro supports multiple control methods, including front panel operation, NovaLCT, Unico, VICP applications, and remote control menus, providing users with a more convenient and dynamic operating experience. This flexibility caters to more complex application scenarios such as hotel events and summit performances.​

• Durable Industrial Design: Featuring an industrial-grade enclosure, the VX2000 Pro combines powerful video processing and transmission capabilities, ensuring stable operation in complex environments. With the comprehensive rollout of 5G, auxiliary optical fiber equipment becomes increasingly important. The VX2000 Pro can also be used in conjunction with the MX40 Pro to deliver stunning 3D visuals, enhancing stage design and making banquet hall setups more stylish and artistic.​
