Discover the Secrets of LED Display Screens!
Nowadays, LED display screens are ubiquitous and widely used. We often see colorful and dynamic commercial advertisements on the streets, which is the effect of display screen applications. It brings a fast and convenient information age to our lives, and also adds beautiful colors to the environmental decoration of cities.
As a new media, LED screens utilize the movement of luminous graphics and text, displaying a large amount of information that can be updated at any time, and have excellent advertising and advertising effects, making it easier to attract people’s attention. So what components are LED display screens composed of? Today, let’s briefly introduce them to you:
The LED display screen mainly consists of the following components: LED unit board, wiring, power supply, and control card.
First component: LED unit board
It is one of the core components of LED display, and the quality of the unit board directly affects the display effect of the display screen. A unit board is composed of LED modules, driver chips, and PCB circuit boards. LED display modules are actually composed of many LED emitting points packaged in resin or plastic matrix.
Second component: wiring
It can be divided into data cables, transmission cables, and power cables. The data cable is a ribbon cable used to connect the control card and LED unit board. The transmission line is used to connect the control card and the computer. The power cord is used to connect the power supply, control card, and LED unit board. The copper core diameter of the power cord connecting the unit board is not less than 1mm.
Third component: power supply
The power supply generally uses a switch mode power supply, with a 220V input and a 5V DC output. It should be pointed out that due to the fact that LED display screens are precision electronic devices, switch mode power supplies should be used instead of transformers.
Fourth component: Control card
We recommend using a low-cost strip screen control card, which can control a 256×16 dot dual color screen with 1/16 scan, and assemble the most cost-effective LED screen. This control card belongs to an asynchronous card, which means that the card can save information without the need to connect to a PC and display the information stored inside.
