What are the key factors to consider when choosing an LED display?
There are a growing number of LED display manufacturers, many smaller ones in addition to the well-known LED companies. Although the market is getting wider and wider, the competition is getting tougher and tougher with benign skill competitions and bad price wars. In order to make a living, small new LED manufacturers often enter the malls at low prices where they can open up the malls and capture a group of customers. But in many cases, due to technical, quality problems trigger a series of accidents. Thus, customers have to spend money on repairs.

So, led display is not a short-term thing, it is not like a cell phone, you can replace it every year. There are all kinds of cheap cell phones in the shopping malls, although the technology and quality is not as good as the quality of the imported apple, but the sales are far more than the apple. This is because a cell phone is a short-term thing for the customer and will be replaced soon.

But LED display is different, his life span is 5, 8 and 10 years. Therefore, low price will never be an important factor for customers to choose LED display. Outstanding quality and durability are the real cost saving of customer's money and time.

Since LEDs and ICs are semiconductor devices, environmental conditions are critical for them, preferably operating at room temperature of about 25°C for use. However, the fact is that large outdoor screens will be used in different temperature environments, possibly above 60°C in summer and below -20°C in winter. when a manufacturer produces a product, it is based on 25°C as a test condition and different products are categorized in different documents. The actual operating conditions are 60°C or -20°C. At this point, the efficiency and functionality of the LEDs and ICs are inconsistent, which can be attributed to the first file. It will become a multi-file, the brightness will be inconsistent and the screen will naturally change.

This is because the red, green and blue lights have different brightness attenuation at different temperatures. At 25°C, the white balance is normal, but at 60°C, the brightness of the three color LEDs decreases and the attenuation values are not consistent, so the brightness and color bias of the whole screen will be reduced, and the quality of the whole screen will be reduced. The suitable operating temperature range of IC is -40°C -85°C. The temperature inside the tank will increase due to high external temperature. If the temperature inside the tank exceeds 85° IC will be unstable due to the high temperature, or the temperature drift will be different, and the current between the channels or the difference between the sheets will be too large to induce a splash screen.
