U.S. Trump Tariffs Fact Sheet -- Please try to place your order before Apr 25th

U.S. Tariffs Fact Sheet

Dear Valued Customers,

We wish to inform our U.S.-based clientele about significant changes in trade regulations between the United States and China that may impact your future orders.

Changes to the De Minimis Exemption:

The U.S. administration has revised the "de minimis" exemption for low-value shipments (those valued at $800 or less) T86:

Ad Valorem Tariff Increase: The tariff rate has increased from 30% to 90% of the item's value.

Per-Item Duty Adjustments:

From May 2 to June 1, 2025: Each qualifying low-value package will incur a duty of $75 per item.

After June 1, 2025: The per-item duty will increase to $150.

This means that, starting May 2, 2025, goods valued at or below $800, previously eligible for the de minimis exemption, will be subject to a 90% tariff or a $75 per-item duty, whichever is higher.

Impact on Your Orders:

These policy changes may affect the total cost of importing products from China, including our LED video controllers.

Our Recommendations:

To mitigate the impact of these tariff adjustments, we suggest:

Placing Orders Before April 25, 2025: This timing allows us to process and ship your orders under the current tariff structure, potentially reducing additional costs.

Staying Informed: We are closely monitoring the evolving trade policies and will keep you updated on any further developments that may affect your orders.

We understand that these changes may pose challenges, and we are committed to assisting you in navigating this new landscape. Our team is available to answer any questions and provide support as needed.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
