The Ultimate Guide to LED Display Screens
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, abbreviated as LED. LED panel is a display screen composed of LED device arrays, which is used to display various information such as text, text, graphics, images, animations, market trends, as well as TV and video signals through certain control methods. As a new generation of display media, it has been widely used in public places with business halls such as exhibition centers, trading centers, auction centers, financial centers, information centers, securities, telecommunications, taxation, power supply, customs, courts, fire protection, stations, airports, docks, and talent markets.
1、 Display performance
LED display screens are divided into text LED display screens, graphic LED display screens, computer video LED display screens, TV video LED display screens, and market LED display screens according to their display performance. Market LED displays generally include LED displays for securities, interest rates, futures, and other purposes.
2、 Display Color
LED display screens are divided into single primary color LED display screens (including pseudo color LED display screens), dual primary color LED display screens, and full color (three primary colors) LED display screens according to display colors. According to the grayscale level, it can be divided into 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 grayscale LED displays, etc.
Monochrome screens are generally composed of red luminescent materials. Dual color screens are generally composed of red and yellow green luminescent materials. The three primary color screen is divided into full color, consisting of red, yellow green (wavelength 570nm), and blue; True color, composed of red, pure green (wavelength 525nm), and blue.
3、 Basic luminous point
In non market LED display screens, indoor LED display screens can be classified according to the single point diameter of the LED used, which can be divided into display screens such as ± 3.0mm (62500 points/m2), ± 3.7mm (44100 points/m2), ± 4.8mm (27800 points/m2), ± 5mm (17200 points/m2), and ± 8mm (10000 points/m2);
Outdoor LED display screens can be divided into LED display screens with pixel diameters of ± 8mm (10000 points/m2), ± 12mm (3906 points/m2), ± 16mm (2500 points/m2), ± 26mm (1024 points/m2), etc. LED display screens in the market category can be divided into 2.0cm (0.8inch), 2.5cm (1.0inch), 3.0cm (1.2inch), 4.6cm (1.8inch), 5.8cm (2.3inch), 7.6cm (3inch), etc. according to the size of the digital tube used
4、 Usage environment
LED display screens are divided into indoor LED display screens, semi outdoor LED display screens, and outdoor LED display screens according to their usage environment.
The indoor screen area is generally less than 1 square meter to more than ten square meters, with high point density. When used in non direct sunlight or lighting environments, the viewing distance is a few meters away, and the screen body does not have sealing and waterproof capabilities.
5、 Installation method
Embedded, stepped, suspended, wall mounted, front maintenance, hinge type.
6、 Synchronous and asynchronous
Synchronous mode refers to the working mode of LED display screens, which is basically equivalent to computer monitors. It maps the images on computer monitors in real-time at a rate of at least 30 updates per second, and usually has the ability to display multiple grayscale colors, which can achieve multimedia advertising effects.
Asynchronous mode refers to the LED screen having the ability to store and automatically play. Text and grayscale images edited on a PC are transmitted to the LED screen through a serial port or other network interface, and then automatically played offline by the LED screen. Generally, it does not have multi grayscale display capability and is mainly used to display text information. It can be connected to multiple screens.
