LED Display FAQs
Q:“No transmitter card detected” is prompted at startup.
A:1、Serial cable or USB cable is not connected to the sender card.
2、Computer COM or USB port is bad.
3、Serial cable or USB cable is bad.

5、No USB driver installed.

Q:Systems troubleshooting LED display systems
A: Step 1: Check whether the setting part of the graphics card is set up.
Step 2: Check the basic connection of the system, such as DVI cable, network cable socket is correct, the main control card and computer PCI plug Cao's connection, serial port cable connection.
Step 3: Check whether the computer and LED power supply system to meet the needs of use. When the LED screen body power supply is insufficient, when the display is close to white (power consumption) will cause the screen flicker, according to the box power requirements to formulate the appropriate power supply.
Step 4: Check whether the green light of the sender card is regularly flashing, flashing to step 6, if not flashing, restart, not into the windows system before checking whether the green light is regularly blinking, such as flashing to the second step of the operation, please check whether the DVI cable is connected, if the problem is not solved for the sender card, graphics card (or graphics card settings) and the DV line I one of the three have a fault, please replace the respectively repeat! Step 3.
Step 5: Please follow the software instructions to set up or reinstall and set up again until the green light of the sending card blinks, otherwise repeat step 3.
Step 6: Check whether the green light (data light) of the receiver card is synchronized with the green light of the transmitter card, if it blinks, turn to step 8, check whether the red light (power supply) is on, if it is on, turn to step 7, if it is not on, check whether the yellow light (power protection) is on, if it is not on, check whether the power supply is connected to the opposite or the power supply has no output, if it is on, check whether the power supply voltage is 5V, if it is, turn off the power supply, remove the adapter card and the cable and try again, if the problem is not solved. If the problem is not solved, replace the receiver card, repeat step 6.
Step 7: check whether the network cable is well connected or too long (you must use the standard super 5 cable, no repeater cable maximum distance of 100 meters), check whether the network cable is made according to the standard (please refer to the Unified Installation and Setup), if the problem is not solved for the receiver card failure, replace the receiver card, repeat step 6.
Step 8: check whether the big screen power light is on, if not turn to step 7, check whether the adapter card interface definition line is matched with the unit board.
Note: Most of the screen is connected, there may be a local box no picture or screen, due to the network cable RJ45 interface connection is not solid, or the receiver card power is not connected, resulting in the signal is not passed, so please re-plug the cable (or swap), or plug the receiver card power (pay attention to the direction) can be solved.

Q:LED display static electricity protection principles and protective measures
A: The main components of the LED display is LED semiconductor products, and its pins between the rated maximum voltage value, once more than will make the LED display failure or even damage. And static electricity is often the main reason, so the protection of static electricity on the LED display is critical.
So how to LED display electrostatic protection? First we should follow the three basic principles of electrostatic protection:
1, regular testing LED display all electrostatic protection system is normal, usually we use the surface impedance tester or electrostatic tester to detect whether there is static electricity, if found should be timely repair of electrostatic protection system.
2, adhere to the electrostatic protection work area to deal with the LED display of electrostatic sensitive components, usually we use table mats, conductive flooring, bracelets, foot rings or ionized fans to isolate the generation of static electricity.
3, LED display electrostatic sensitive components in the delivery and storage must be static shielding bags or containers, usually use static shielding bags, conductive boxes, conductive boxes, conductive trays and so on.
Then the main measures for LED display static protection:
1, neutralization mode: the use of ion wind or ion gun blowing a large number of positive and negative ions will be non-conductor (insulator) on the surface of the electrostatic charge neutralization.
2, dispersion: through the grounding process, the conductor on the electrostatic exclusion; or through the path resistance, limiting the size of the current rate, control the length of time the static dissipation.
3, masking method: the use of masking bag or conductive box, the LED display of electrostatic sensitive components in the transfer of masking protection.
Static electricity on the LED display is very harmful, so whether in production, or in use, we should do a good job of electrostatic protection, to ensure the normal work and service life of the LED display.

Q:Safe power distribution of LED display
A:After the LED display is installed, it needs to be tested, power distribution is one of the indispensable work, safe power distribution operation can not only prolong the life of the LED display, but also to avoid unnecessary losses and dangers.
Safe power distribution knowledge usually includes the following 6 elements:
1, the phase color of the power distribution device should be arranged in accordance with the following provisions: ① the same power distribution device within the circuit and phase sequence arrangement should be the same; ② hard busbar should be painted color, its color: A phase yellow, B phase green, C phase red, zero line black; ③ soft busbar should be marked with the phase.
2, the distribution device interval wire arrangement, should be left to hang a temporary grounding wire position, the place should not be painted with phase color paint.
3、The arrangement of the distribution device and the selection of conductors, electrical appliances and frames shall meet the requirements under normal operation, maintenance and short-circuit over-voltage conditions without jeopardizing personal safety and surrounding equipment.
4、Operating sequence of high-voltage disconnecting switch: (1) Operating sequence of disconnecting: (a) Disconnecting the air switch of each low-voltage branch circuit, (b) Disconnecting switch. (c) Disconnect the low voltage main switch. (d) Disconnect the high-voltage oil switch. (e) Disconnect the high-voltage disconnect switch. (2) The order of power feed operation is the reverse of the power-off order.
(1) Operation sequence of power failure: (a) Disconnect the air switch and disconnecting switch of each branch circuit of low voltage. (b) Disconnect the low voltage main switch. (2) The order of power supply is opposite to power failure.
6, the power distribution requirements must be greater than the actual demand for power, the actual power can only be counted as 80% of the power distribution cabinet power.

Q:LED display terminology
A: 1, data signal: provide the data needed to display the image. Must be coordinated with the clock signal in order to transmit data to any one display point. Generally in the display of red, green and blue data signal separation, if a data signal short-circuit to the positive or negative, the corresponding color will appear all bright or not bright, when the data signal is suspended when the corresponding color display situation is uncertain.
2、CLK Clock Signal: The shift pulse provided to the shift register, each pulse will cause the data to be shifted in or out by one. The data on the data port must be coordinated with the clock signal in order to transmit data properly, and the frequency of the data signal must be 1/2 times the frequency of the clock signal. In any case, when there is an abnormality in the clock signal, it will make the whole board display messy.
3, ABCD line signal: only in the dynamic scanning display exists, ABCD is actually a binary number, A is the lowest bit, if the binary representation of the ABCD signal control the maximum range of 16 lines (1111), 1/4 scanning as long as the AB signal will be able to do so, because the AB signal represents the range of 4 lines (11). When the line control signal is abnormal, there will be display misalignment, highlighting or image overlap and other phenomena.
4, EN enable signal: the whole screen brightness control signal, also used for display fading. As long as you adjust its duty cycle, you can control the change of brightness. When the enable signal is abnormal, the whole screen will not be bright, dark or trailing and other phenomena.
5, STB latch signal: the data in the shift register will be sent to the latch, and the data content will be displayed through the driver circuit to light up the LED. However, because the driver circuit is controlled by the EN enable signal, the premise of its lighting must be enabled for the on state. The latch signal must also be coordinated with the clock signal to display the complete image. In any case, when the latch signal has an abnormality, it will make the whole board display messy.
6、What is a pixel? LED display of the smallest light-emitting pixel, with ordinary computer monitors, “pixel” means the same; LED display each can be individually controlled LED light-emitting unit (point) called pixel (or pixel).
7, LED display resolution is what? The number of rows and columns of LED display pixels is called the resolution of LED display. Resolution is the total number of pixels in a display, which determines the information capacity of a display.
8、How is the optimal viewing distance of LED screen calculated? L (optimal viewing distance) = M (point spacing) * 0.86 For example: P20DF optimal viewing distance = 20 * 0.86 = 17.2 meters for a variety of display devices, the optimal viewing distance should be the minimum distance at which the human eye can not distinguish the pixels.
9、What is the viewing angle? What is the viewing angle? Angle of view is to observe the direction of the brightness down to the LED display normal direction of the brightness of 1/2, the same plane of the two observation direction and the normal direction of the angle. Divided into horizontal and vertical angle of view; angle of view is just able to see the direction of the image content on the display, and the angle made by the normal line of the display.
10, what does contrast mean? What role does it play in a large screen? In a certain environmental illumination, LED display maximum brightness and background brightness ratio; the higher the contrast the better the visual effect.
11. What is the gray level? In the same brightness level, the display from the darkest to the brightest between the number of technical processing level; also known as the color depth, refers to the number of different brightness, red, green and blue have their own gray scale, in the full-color system is generally 256 levels of gray scale, which can produce 256X256X256 = 16,777,216 kinds of colors, known as the PC in the 24-bit color in the LED display system is called 8-bit system.
12、What is color temperature? What is color coordinate? The color coordinate is a coordinate value that reflects the RGB luminance value. The color temperature. Color temperature below 3000K, the light color begins to have a reddish phenomenon, giving a warm feeling.
